What To Expect At Your Appointment:
PMU: News
A typical appointment last 2 to 3 hours. A 6-8 week touchup appointment is required which usually lasts anywhere from 1-2 hours depending on the amount of work that needs touching up. The touch up is not included with your service which can be scheduled the day of.
The day of your appointment:
A thorough consultation will be done face to face to discuss what to expect, clients goals and needs, aftercare, and maintenance of permanent makeup.
The artist will assess your face shape, your natural brow and what it is you would like to achieve.
Next, the artist will draw the brow shape directly on the clients using a specific pencil. This will be the guide for the procedure. Once the client approves the artist will reassess the cemetery using a special app.
Now that the shape is confirmed the permanent makeup process begins. A topical anesthetic is optional but is highly suggested after the first pass of opening the skin.
Once the procedure is finished, the artist will remove any excess pigment, cleaning up the skin. Then take photos and videos.
Expect some mild redness and for the pigment to be slightly darker for the first 5-7 days. This will fade loosing 40-50% of its pigment.
Permanent make-up requires A post treatment 6-8 weeks prior. A second touch up appointment makes 70% of the treatment successful. This includes the strict after care instructions. Conscientiously obey advice, if not done properly you may loose 80% of drawn strokes.

The Success of the treatment depends on:
Skin quality
Post treatment care
Exposure to different external factors
*All of these factors are out of the artists control.
A consultation is required to determine any of the following:
Have problematic skin
Any health concerns
Taking certain medications
Have pre-existing permanent make up
Botox or fillers (30 days before)
Laser treatment
Chemical peels
Exposure to sunlight
Pregnant or nursing

A History of Greatness
Microblading eyebrows first started about 25 years ago throughout Asia. The technique of implanting pigment in the fine incisions in the skin may date back thousands of years. Although not well documented in the United States microblading can go by many different names today, more advanced techniques are becoming more and more popular.
